The Art of Shaving

Four Steps of Shaving:

1. Prepare the beard and protect the skin: Always shave after or during a hot Shower. Hot water softens the hair opens the pours and cleanses the skin.

2.Lather UP!! For a close and comfortable shave try a glycerin based shave gel. Using a shaving brush will also badger, hair allowing you shave that closer. As well as creating a richer lather.

3.Shave-Always shave with the grain(the direction the hair grows). Shaving against the grain will irritate the skin and promote in grown hairs. For a closer shave re-lather and shave lightly against or across the grain. Make sure to avoid applying too much pressure when shaving to avoid razor burn or skin irritation.

**Always check the direction of hair growth on the neck and shave accordingly, on occasion the growth pattern might be different from the face**

4.Moisturize- Post shaving make sure to use an alcohol free after shave to soothe and regenerate the skin. Avoid aftershaves with alcohol because it tends to irritate and dry out the skin. If your skin becomes sensitive from constant shaving try a mens after shave mask.

Three Tips Before You Get Framed

1.Were talking substantial plastic frames here, were not talking about wire framed- Donald Rumsfield. You will get noticed and people will start to comment. So prepare to be flattered.
